FalseConfessions.org is a public advocacy organization committed to raising awareness of the incidence of false confessions in criminal prosecutions leading to wrongful convictions. We support legal efforts for those wrongfully convicted, as well as reforms in the criminal justice system to prevent the incidence of false confessions.

FalseConfessions.org was created by the team behind the public awareness and advocacy campaign to free Marty Tankleff, who spent 17 years in prison based on a false confession.
